Monday 24th March

Whalsay: Siskin and Great Spotted Woodpecker at Marrister.

Central Mainland: 2 Long-eared Owls at Scalloway. Chaffinch in Lerwick.

North Mainland: 3 Snow Buntings at Ollaberry.

Yell: 19 Snow Buntings and Great Spotted Woodpecker at Cullivoe.

Lesser Black-backed Gulls and Skylarks are slow in coming back, but are now widespread in small numbers.

Sunday 23rd March

South Mainland: Tundra Bean Goose at Sandwick. 8 Barnacle Geese at Exnaboe. 19 Bar-tailed Godwits at Pool of Virkie. Shoveler and Carrion Crow at Hillwell. 2 Siskins at Cunningsburgh.
