The Scottish Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SSPCA) has a rehabilitation centre in Shetland at Gott in central Mainland, built in the wake of the Braer disaster, when it became clear that there were no proper facilities in Shetland.

Anyone finding an injured bird, seal or nay other animal should contact SSPCA if possible.
